Mr. Niraj Kumar is Business Lead - Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka, since 1st April 2020. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership to these opportunity markets and building organizational capabilities on the ground to fuel organic growth. Mr. Kumar joined CPIL in 2007 as Regional Manager (East). He later became Regional Manager (North), and in this role he significantly contributed in building an all India rural Go-to-Market strategy. Post this, he was elevated to the position of Branch Manager (East). Under his able leadership against stiff competition, Bihar achieved significant revenue growth and gain in market share in the toothpaste and toothbrush categories. Prior to assuming his current role, Mr Kumar was Associate Director - North Branch, where he displayed outstanding sales leadership qualities that helped achieve double digit growth, and market share growth for the company’s products in the important geographies of UP, Uttarakhand and Delhi. Prior to joining Colgate, Mr. Kumar served at Perfetti Van Melle, and Amul (Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (India). Niraj holds a Graduate Degree in Agricultural Science from Banaras Hindu University, and an MBA from Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), Gujarat.
