Colgate-Palmolive compliance/communication in respect of GST & MRP changes on Hand Sanitiser
The GST Council in its 44th meeting, dated 12th June 2021, has announced reduction in the goods and services tax (GST) rates on specified items being used in COVID-19 relief and management which includes reduction in the GST rates for Hand Sanitizers from 18% to 5% effective 14th June, 2021. This reduction shall remain in force up to 30th September, 2021.
The benefit of tax rate reduction is to be entirely passed on to the consumers alone. Our new reduced MRPs (Incl. of all taxes) will be in pursuance of this.
